The Dark Passenger

Taking the innocence,
Of the broken,
I shatter the pieces to a better transformation,
Pain has made you feel like you're nothing,
Take my hand,
I'll show you the light in everything.
Take the time to listen my dear,
I promise you'll heal from what you hear,
There is good and evil in all of us,
Anger, Greed and even the Lust,
Will consume you,
If you give it the chance,
Fight with all your might if you must,
With me in your head,
You will lay in your own bed,
Dreaming of one last dance,
With the Dark Passenger.

We the broken,
We are the pure,
They believe we're nothing,
We can be anything,
We are the future,
Burning,
Crying,
Begging,
And dying,
Burns and scars on our skin,
The dark passenger told me to keep fighting,
The scars on our hearts are the reason we win,
Though we don't blend,
We stand out,
Invisible to their wind,
Bleeding from their pain,
We always knew how to win.

I can't control it,
Sometimes it's too much,
I don't want it,
I wish it would go away,
Ignoring it brings voices,
Temptations,
There is no kind of limitations,
Harder and harder it gets,
I wish it would leave my head,
No more screaming in my ears,
Sitting on my shoulder for years,
All it brought me was pain and tears,
How do I terminate,
The dark passenger he waits,
Waits until I have no choice,
To give in,
So I will get rid of the noise,
Anything to live in silence,
To have one minute to rejoice.
